Kamrun Nahar Shova

Kamrun Nahar Shova began her journalism career in 2009 as a Copy Editor at the English daily New Age. After a year in the role, she joined Prothom Alo Online in 2010. Later that same year, she moved to The Financial Express as a Reporter, where she worked for more than a decade until 2021.
In late 2021, she joined The Business Standard as a Senior Copy Editor. After serving there for 14 months, she moved to The Daily Messenger, where she held several positions, including News Editor. Following the closure of the publication, she joined the online news portal Views Bangladesh as Joint News Editor in 2024.
Throughout her career, Kamrun Nahar has reported extensively on finance, business, and social and development issues. She has also covered a wide range of beats, including urban affairs, health, aviation, tourism, microfinance, and the hospitality industry.
